TA commemorated 2nd anniversary of Ş. Hêlîn Qereçox, an internationalist anarchist comrade and YPJ fighter, murder by the Turkish state in Afrin:
“2 years ago our comrade Hêlîn, Anna Campbell, fell sehid under the turkish bombs in Efrin. She made an interview before joining the Efrin resistance, talking about internationalism and about Şehîd. Hêlîn was a revolutionary, an anarchist, but above all she was a free woman.
In her time in Rojava, first in different civilian works and later in the ranks of YPJ, she gave everything to defend the revolution. Her sacrifice and her struggle is carried today by hundreds of internationalists, inspired by her actions in Rojava and all around the world.
Şehîd Hêlîn, dear Anna, your commitment and your sacrifice enlights our path. We promise to continue your struggle, to carry on with the revolution you fought to defend, to honour your memory and your legacy. We will always fight with you, and light the fires of resistance!”
