2 years ago Lêgerîn Çiya, a doctor from Argentina who came to Kurdistan to fight for freedom, fell Şehîd. She joined the ranks of YPJ fighting against Daesh before becoming a copresident of the health committee of NE Syria. Her struggle and her sacrifice contributed to building a bridge between the struggles of the Middle East and South America. She is an example for internationalist women from all around the world who fight against patriarchy and colonialism for a better future.
